Describe and analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the 3 national eGovernance and cooperation models. At least 1 of the 3 countries much be chosen from amongst the following: Australia, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Japan, Kenya, FYR of Macedonia, Mexico, Netherlands, Oman, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or Uruguay. Suggestions It is suggested that the following data is included in the description and subsequent analysis: • Population size. • GDP per capita (in Euro or US$). • % of individuals with internet access at home. • % of individuals who use the internet (per week or per year). • % of individuals using eBanking and eGovernment services. • Data preferably for 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 (2017 if you can identify it). Governance and cooperation issues to be considered: • State structure (unified or federal state structure – on paper and in practice - level of autonomy and decision making power at national, regional and local level). • Consensus based or top-down decisions, do joint-governmental decision making structure etc. exist. • Existence of eGovernment Stategy (mandatory or indicative), a supporting action plan, KPI’s, joint initiatives, reuse of key enablers and sharing of data etc. • Existence and use of key enablers (ID’s and ID management, national standards, data registries, infrastructure etc.). • What has the governance and cooperation model be able to achieve.
