Learning to think about concepts in new and abstract ways may at first seem challenging, but in the long run will help you understand nursing theory development and analysis. Concept maps are a way to facilitate abstract thinking and visualize your understanding of a selected concept.
Consider the phenomenon of concern (concept) you identified in Module One. Based on the information in the analysis of your concept of interest, create a concept map that visually depicts the concept. You may use a concept map creation tool like Creately.
When responding to your peers, discuss the concept map that they created and identify ways that it could help with understanding of nursing theory and analysis.
