Both beliefs should have the same intended goals, which benefit the students, but the paths traveled to arrive at such a consensus may vary. Based on your personal experiences, reflections, and resources from this week prepare a reflection paper addressing the following:
Explain the purpose of education and the purpose of supervision based on your beliefs and experiences.
Identify who controls the learning environment. What is the educator’s role, and what is the supervisor’s role? Include this information as a chart within your paper.
Recommend the most effective relationship between:
- The educator and student
- The educator and supervisor
Determine the most important needs of the educator and the supervisor’s role in addressing these needs.
Interpret the characteristics possessed by a successful educator and supervisor. Provide examples to support your findings.
Based on your reflection so far, identify the qualities and explain the attributes of an effective school.
